Spotlight on The Wild Rabbit, Kingham

One of the joys of making tableware is watching our plates come to life once they have left our workshop. We are lucky enough to work with talented chefs and amazing restaurants around the world. Creating tableware for restaurants requires a blend of artistry and functionality. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to complement the culinary experience, enhancing presentation while standing up to daily use. We work closely with chefs to develop bespoke collections that reflect their unique vision, adding an elegant touch to every dish served.

The Wild Rabbit in Kingham has recently launched a series of exclusive supper clubs, offering a unique and intimate dining experience. Renowned chefs such as Tom Aikens and Sat Bains have joined Executive Chef Sam Bowser to bring together seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to create exceptional menus. Seeing what they have created and plated on our ware has been a delight.

Each supper club celebrates the best of British cuisine, with dishes expertly paired with fine wines and crafted to highlight the flavours of the Cotswolds.

At John Julian we aim to keep our production as local as possible, using clay dug in the South West and everything hand made in our Wiltshire workshop, it’s wonderful to see the continuation of this ethos carried on once our plates have left the workshop.

We worked closely with the Wild Rabbit to reflect their brand in their tableware.
We created a range of tableware that is functional and versatile – pared back simplicity.
